A founding member of the legendary experimental/ambient/industrial collective Zoviet France, Robin Storey has been actively recording and performing music for almost 25 years. Since starting solo work under the name Rapoon in 1992, he has been involved in over 40 releases both solo and in collaboration with such artists as Nigel Ayers (Nocturnal Emissions), Randy Greif and Kinder Atom.

For his installment in our 2003 limited edition series, Robin has provided us with a deep ambient piece entited "Ep Et Vee" that he recorded as part of a compositional assignment for a Masters Degree in Music technology that he is currently taking at Newcastle University.

Like all of the releases in our 2003 series, "Ep Et Vee" is an EP-length disc on CD3", packaged with a unique Japanese paper insert and limited to 211 copies.

Born 1955 in Cumberland, U.K.
Studied Fine art at Carlisle College Of Art & Sunderland Unversity (BA. Hons Fine Art) 1977.
Co-founded Zoviet France in 1979/80.
Worked in AV industry for 15 years from 1980-1995.
Started solo work as Rapoon in 1992.
Co-founded Hank & Slim with Nigel Ayers (Nocturnal Emissions) in 1999.
Returned to University in 2002 to study for Masters degree in Music technology.
Part-time teacher of Music Tecnology at Newcastle University 2002-2003.

" Ep Et Vee" was processed within a piece of freely available software called Audio Mulch and formed part of a compositional assignment for the Masters Degree (obtained 2004)
