In May 2002, Robin came over to Vienna for a short holiday and visit. We had the most fantastic time together, slept long, stayed up late and listened to Robert Ashley endlessly. We went to pubs and Japanese restaurants, met friends and other Musicians and spent hours walking and talking in Vienna's woods. Plus we dj'ed together at Austria's no. 1 electronic club "Rhiz". There, after many beers and many hours of wonderful music I suddenly heard this awesome track while chatting to a friend. I asked Robin what he was playing and he said it was a new song he'd recorded for me. I couldn't believe my ears, the track was kicking ass like nothing I'd heard before and I was to release it on Klanggalerie! Now, only a half a year later, I am very happy and proud to present to you a whole album of "Rhiz Beatz" by one of Europe's leading composers and musicians - Robin Storey. Enjoy.

on this new album, youll get to know a new side to rapoon: all tracks are full of hard electronic beats (still retaining cool ambient touches though). it reflects robins newly awakened interest in rhythmic music that he discovered while dj-ing in clubs. long tracks full of repetitive rhythm patterns, to which rapoon adds his typical female voice samples.
